The Phillies Prospects Hoskins, Quinn, Arano And Casimiro Surge To The Top The Offseason Leader Boards

Winter and Fall Ball are in full swing.  Some forty Phillies farmhands have played games in the offseason leagues so far.

Several of the guys have stood out coming out on top of the leagues leader boards in several categories after the first week of November.

First baseman Rhys Hoskins continues to impress.  He leads the Australian Baseball League with eight doubles in his first eleven games.  See his seventh double of the season  in Saturday’s first game HERE (Fast forward to around the 1hour and 55 minute mark) and his eight double in the second game HERE (Fast forward to around the 25 minute mark).

Reliever Victor Arano has given up only one run out of the pen in eleven games over 12.2 innings for a 0.71 ERA in the Mexican Pacific League.  He just picked up his first save of the season on Friday night.

Starter Ranfi Casimiro made his DWL debut Wednesday night and pitched a five inning shutout.  He induced eleven ground ball outs and gave up only two hits in a no decision.
