Tromp is playing at baseball age 22 and if he is still with the Phillies he has the potential to hit 30 homers in Reading next season.
Remember, Rhys Hoskins hit only 18 homers last season between Lakewood and Clearwater including one in the playoffs and is now stuck at Reading at baseball age 23 and has 35 long balls this season at AA.
Tromp has come into his own. In his last ten games he is hitting .333 and in his last three games he has gone 6 for 11 since being moved into to the leadoff spot. It’s rewarding when we see Threshers players actually develop as the season progresses.
