The Phillies Mickey Moniak Is Ranked As The 6th Best Outfield Prospect In The Minors By MLBPipeline

MLBPipeline has completed its Top Ten minor league prospect lists by position and the Phillies Mickey Moniak is ranked No. 6 on its outfield list.  Read HERE.

Moniak was the 2016 first round overall MLB draft pick.   He finished his first season slashing .284/.340/.409, hitting one homer and driving in 28 runs for the GCL Phillies in the Gulf Coast League.  He was 10 for 14 in base stealing attempts.  Playing centerfield  he had three assists and was charged with one error in 50 games.

The Phillies did well in the MLBPipline rankings with catcher Jorge Alfaro, first baseman Rhys Hoskins, second baseman Scott Kingery  and shortstop J.P. Crawford joining Moniak on the MLBPipeline minor league Top Ten lists by position.
