Listen to Joe Jordan Talk About the Phillies Farm System At The Start of the 2017 Minor League Season

Jim Salisbury covers Phillies baseball for  This season he has produced a Podcast called  AT THE YARD WITH JIM SALISBURY.  This week’s Podcast is an interview with Phillies Director of Player Development, Joe Jordan.

Jordan and Salisbury talk about the top prospects in the Farm system and give us the Phillies overview of where they stand in the system.  We highly recommend listening to it before the start the 2017 minor league season.

We will be at Spectrum Field tonight in Clearwater for the Threshers vs. Dunedin Blue Jays, Florida State League opener.  Reports are that pitcher Zach Eflin will make a rehab appearance tonight for the Threshers.  When I talked to one of the possible Threshers starting pitchers a couple day ago, he had no idea when he would make his first start.

The Carpenter Complex is the home of rehabbing Phillies players in the system. So too many times we are not sure who will be in the Threshers starting lineup from game to game or playing on the back fields in extended spring or GCL games.

About Baseball Ross

I have been a faithful Phillies follower all my life. Today I am most intrigued by those players in the minor league system who work every day of the year to make it to the Show. This is what this blog is mostly all about. To read more, click here:
