Tuesday was a special night in the Phillies minor league system. Top prospects Alec Bohm for Clearwater and Darick Hall for Reading went deep.. Each hit two-run homers and drove in three runs.
Down in Bradenton Fl., Bohm went 3 for 4 with three RBIs against the Marauders. He helped bring the Clearwater Thresher back from a big 8-1 deficit after three innings but they still fell short in an 8-6 loss. Watch his home run HERE.
Back in Reading, Hall hit his 13th homer of the season and went 3 for 5 with 3 RBIs in leading the Fightin Phils to a 10-2 win over Akron. Reading was battling for first place in the Eastern League’s East division, but came up percentage points short as the Trenton Thunder won its game and the first half championship in the division.
